Freaks and Geeks

The 1999-2000 NBC comedy Freaks and Geeks, about outcasts in a suburban Michigan high school in 1980, was way ahead of its time. Created by Paul Feig, who would go on to direct films like Bridesmaids and Spy, and produced by Judd Apatow, who would go on to direct films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, it featured a cast bursting with future stars, including Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini, James Franco, and Busy Philipps.
