The Chair Company recap, Episode 3: '@BrownDerbyHistoricVids Little bit of Hollywood? Okayyy.'

A review of this week's The Chair Company, "@BrownDerbyHistoricVids Little bit of Hollywood? Okayyy." — with spoilers — coming up just as soon as you make me smell like a duck...

The Chair Company recap: Episode 2, ‘New blood. There’s 5 Rons now.’
Is Ron a fool or a genius? Why not both?

As any good thriller should — and The Chair Company is, to its credit, working so far on a thriller level as much as it is on a comedy level — this week's episode picks up right where we left off, with a terrified Ron approaching the front closet in which he's pretty sure an intruder is hiding. Sure enough, said intruder bursts out, and is revealed to be a tiny, frenzied bald man, which would be crazy enough on its own. But then we find out that Mike is the one who sent him, because he's not sure whether Ron is setting him up. They wind up hashing this out in Ron's garage — surrounded by evidence of the failed Jeep tours business that still seems to weigh heavily on him and on Barb — as a sign that Ron has invited these lunatics into both his home and his life. He chose this. He is the one who couldn't let it go, and now all the madness to come is in some way his fault.
