The Chair Company recap, Episode 4: 'Bahld Harmon birthplace (disputed)'
The mystery of Ron's jeep tour company past is revealed, while the conspiracy wages a prank war against him in the present
A review of this week's The Chair Company, "Bahld Harmon birthplace (disputed)" — with spoilers — coming up just as soon as I submit you for a job as a plum-sized model...

Several prior episodes alluded to Ron's a period when Ron left Fisher Robay, and to him running a jeep-related company. This week's installment finally provides more detail on this, with a trio of flashbacks about a very tumultuous time in the Prosper household.
We open six years in the past, with Ron and Barb desperate to escape a boring office Christmas party. Barb confesses that she's not happy at her job, and wants to explore a start-up for her portable breast pump idea. Ron is enthusiastic about her plan — too enthusastic, it turns out. Rather than stay at Fisher Robay so that at least one of them can have a steady income, benefits, etc., he wants to quit, too, and explore his true passion running a jeep tour company. Barb is nervous about this, but she's also in an impossible position, where she can't shut down her husband's dream when he just agreed to support hers.
