A review of this week's The Pitt — with spoilers — coming up just as soon as I think of this like Back to the Future...

The eighth episode of Season One was the four-hanky combination of the drowned little girl, the honor walk for the fentanyl overdose student, and the story of the Freedom House ambulance drivers. For this season's midpoint, we've fast forwarded structurally, so that we're getting this year's equivalent of the start of the PittFest arc a month early.
Like last season's twelfth episode, we pick up where a cliffhanger introducing the crisis left off, with Robby gathering the staff together to brief them on how their jobs have now radically changed for the rest of the shift, if not longer. And, like in that episode, we end with Robby pondering the utter chaos at PTMC and wondering how he and his colleagues will get through it all.
