TV Is Good, Episode 6: Do we finally like 'House of the Dragon'?

Plus, the darkest series finale ever is from... 'Dinosaurs'?!?!

TV Is Good, Episode 6: Do we finally like 'House of the Dragon'?

It's Monday, which means it's time for another episode of the TV Is Good podcast, where Kathryn VanArendonk and I look at notable television shows from the present and the past. In this week's episode, Kathryn and I look at the highs and lows of House of the Dragon, while also taking a wider view of HBO's whole Westeros project.

Review: ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 still has a big character flaw
As in, most of the human characters are still forgettable

So far, we've been trying to make thematic pairings between our current and classic shows. When Kathryn suggested that we follow the HotD conversation with a look at the series finale of Dinosaurs — arguably the single darkest end to any TV show much less a puppet series designed for kids and families — I laughed and waited for a serious idea. Turns out, she was serious, and in the end it wound up making an odd amount of sense.
