TV Is Good Podcast, episode 22: How weird does the new CBS drama 'Cupertino' get?

Dan Fienberg fills in for me, as he and Kathryn talk about Silicon Valley legal hijinks, and revisit the obscure sci-fi legal procedural 'Century City'

TV Is Good Podcast, episode 22: How weird does the new CBS drama 'Cupertino' get?

It's Monday, which means it's time for another episode of the TV Is Good podcast, where Kathryn VanArendonk and I usually look at notable television shows from the present and the past. This week, though, I'm still on the mend, so Kathryn had to call in a voice from my podcasting past, with The Hollywood Reporter's Dan Fienberg playing co-host.

The episode's main subject is Cupertino, the new CBS legal procedural, set in the world of Silicon Valley, from Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. I really enjoyed the show and will try to write about it at some point later this fall, but I'm glad the podcast could give it this spotlight.

After that, god love Dan Fienberg, whose impulse wasn't to pair Cupertino with a beloved Silicon Valley-set series like Halt and Catch Fire, or, well, Silicon Valley, but to go back a couple of decades to Century City, a short-lived sci-fi legal drama set in the near future, where cases involved cloning and other advanced technology. Get ready to hear about a controversial pair of nanopants!
