Now we're cooking with gas, aren't we? 

Ideally, the home stretch of a serialized(*) show like this should have the momentum of a boulder rolling downhill at a tremendous speed, as ideas set in motion earlier in the season start to accumulate and pay off. That's exactly what's happening here. 

(*) Among the things I admire about the structure of the show is how it manages to be, even at this stage of things, both serialized and episodic. Where a lot of screenwriters come to TV not knowing or caring how to make TV, Katie Dippold spent three seasons on Parks and Rec before going off to write movies. She understands structure.
